Why tip the earth?
Every business has a link to soil because everything we need is grown in soil: the food we eat, the creams and oils we use on our skin, the towels and duvets we comfort ourselves with, the wood in our floors and furniture, the wool in our rugs and fleeces, the leather in our shoes, the list goes on and on.
Farmers grow all these materials for us, and we need to give back to farmers in order to help them enrich the life within their soils so that soil can become a climate solution.
Healthy soil means a healthy planet, and together we can heal Earth’s skin.
Who is it for?
Farmers are in dire need of philanthropic financial support which is why DIRT exists.
We help farmers make the transition they want to make to stop using harmful chemicals and increase the biodiversity within their soil, so they can grow richly nutritious ingredients and raw materials.
Because let’s face it: what is the point in sourcing something ‘natural’ if it has been grown with toxic chemicals and has hardly any of its vitality because the soil under that farm was so weak.
