Schools Can Compost Too

Children need to know that it is actually within their power to make soil. Soil is one of our most valuable commodities and more useful tools against climate change. Making soil in schools with experts such as Katrina Wolf from Blue Borage, who leads this project, can give young people a deep understanding of nature and their role in looking after it and being responsible citizens. This is a great opportunity to support one or more schools to implement biodynamic farming practices. Not only is it good for the environment, but children learn new skills, such as sharing responsibilities, and also spend time outdoors. The funding options are for either a one off set up fee to prepare the course, or a set up fee and implementation for schools, depending on the amount we are able to raise.
